Splish Splash!

Journee had her 2nd Saturday at swimming lessons with Daddy this past weekend. She LOVES it!
I have some pictures, which I would like to say were a task and a half to take.
There is a viewing room to watch the swimmers with extremely narrow seating and of course the seating was full when I got up there.
Everyone looked at the Mom, with the newborn in the car seat crying and looked away. So here I stood in the corner, nursing my baby in one arm and taking pictures in the other.
I was able to snap a few sweet shots.

There is going to be a post LOADED with video's once I download them all onto my desk top rather than this super crappy lap top.

Enjoy!

Every year, since Journee I host a kids Christmas party! I LOVE hosting almost anything but truly enjoy hosting this...1-For my girls and the memories it makes 2-Because, well, who doesn't love celebrating this time of year!

Here are a few snap shots, and if I can figure out how to add a video, I will!

In preparation...

for the Kids gift Xchange & Christmas of course I have started my decorating because after all... 'TIS THE SEASON! Waaahoo!

Truthfully, its my  favorite time of year, especially since having little people in our lives :)

Saturday I had Dave singinng "Deck the Halls" nearly all day. He even put up our Christmas lights!

Since moving into a bigger house our little 3.5ft Christmas tree just wasn't going to cut it!

I have an amazing friend on the Island that loves Christmas (if you can believe it) more then I do. And with her good planning and cheap ways (Love ya Em) she just happened to pick up a $200 Christmas Tree at Michaels last year, end of season, and score it for a whopping $30.
When she heard of my sad, sad story and our tiny Christmas tree she sent her Michaels purchase, with her hubby when he came to work...and now we have a beautiful, 7.5ft tree that we just LOVE. (Thanks Guys)

Here are some pics to show some progress...

3 weeks of change...

This past Sunday was 3weeks since Emersyn joined our family...
It has been a blissful 3weeks at that!

There has definitely been some change in Emersyn, Journee and our household.

-Emersyn now weighs almost 9lbs! (Chunky Monkey)
-She wakes and eats at certain times, somewhat setting Mommy's schedule
-Journee doesn't want to hold Emersyn as much but always wants to sing to her and "pet her head" :)
-Naps aren't as common but when both girls sleep at the same time, so does this Momma!
-I have so much more energy now that Emersyn is here, its crazy!

My family is complete and we feel increadibly blessed to have both Emersyn and Journee as our babies!
Here are some pictures of the girls recently...

A puuuuurfect Halloween!

Meow!!!

When I asked Journee in September what she wanted to be for Halloween she responded with "A Kitty!!!" Honestly, I didn't think she would understand the whole "dress up and get candy" thing. But she did, very well.
The face paint is done my yours truly...not perfect but for someone who was asked to no longer participate in art in high school (because I sucked so bad) I think I did not too bad of a job and Journee didn't complain!
She got LOADS of compliments...a few times she even got "your the cutest little girl we've seen all night" (Huge smile over here :)
I didn't take a picture of her "winnings" but trust that she filled two buckets of candy and is absolutely aware that they are hers and they are only steps away in the pantry...
