Intense Love...

Moving up in the world...

Last year we bought our Chariot, a double of course with intentions of both girls using it together. I'm not ready to put them in it together quite yet because Journee REALLY loves Emersyn and likes to show her affection by tight squeezes and head rubs that turn into pokes. So, not comfortable yet, by summer hopefully!

However, because Emersyn is getting to be such a BIG GIRL herself. She can now ride solo in the Chariot. We found that putting her in the double stroller in her own seat proved to be a great idea this weekend at the home and garden show. She sat/laid there completely happy chewing on Sophie.

Things do get easier in some aspects as they get older. Sad too however, because it goes SO fast!

4 Months!

Feb 16th, our sweet Emmy turned 4 months..

12lb 6oz


Emersyn weighed in at 12lb 6oz (Journee didn't weight this until she was  6   8 Months!) and a whopping 24" long. She's a lean mean eczema machine!
Emersyn has developed some serious Eczema which is so sad. She is a trooper and is doing well but it is super itchy and painful. We're praying this is only a phase and that it passes quickly.

The nurse said she's a beautiful healthy 4 month old. (She didn't tell me anything I didn't already know hehe)

Emersyn Now...

• Has a very regular bedtime schedule. Bath, vigorous lotion, nurse, bed by 7pm.
• Wakes 1x a night for the last week (Growth spurt?)
• Talks a lot
• Giggles soooo sweetly!
• is a pretty serious baby (like her momma was)
• Stays happy if Journee throws her arms around dancing in front of her
• is SO close to rolling over
• has almost outgrown liking her swing
• does NOT sleep any long then 1.5hrs during the day
• MUST go down for her nap2hours after waking up in the morning
• is super cute and growing like a weed
